Our Garden

We are very lucky to have two garden areas, which both have all weather artifical grass laid. These are fully enclosed. Our front garden that leads onto the playing field is often used for obstacle courses, races, picnics, parachute play, snowman competitions and team games. The rear garden is where the children grow their own fruit and vegetables for their snack times. This garden has given the children great opportunities and pride in looking after and caring for their own plants. This garden has been developed to incorporate different aromas by using herbs, flowers and plants. All children are given opportunities to play outside every day no matter what the weather is doing, allowing us to create an outdoor classroom.

We have colourful outdoor wall plaques that aid learning of colour, numerals and letters. There are also free standing chalk boards, painting easels and large music frames. The children have use of a large castle as well as a huge range of regularly rotated toys and activities to amuse themselves. We have placed a great emphasis on making the best use of available space.
